Pathfinder Studio Edition is an Autodesk Maya tool that allows animators to retarget their animation into a path.
Lightwave and easy to set up, this tool is much more powerful than the inbuilt Maya’s Motion Path tool. Pathfinder delivers a final result with no foot sliding and preserving it as intact as possible.
- No foot sliding.
- Easy to setup.
- Easy to delete at any point without damaging the animation.
- Easy to bake into a different layer.
- Results are in real time.
Why buy Studio Edition instead of Home Edition?
Pathfinder Home Edition comes encrypted, not providing the source code with the purchase. Studio Edition on the other hand, provides the full source code to the buyer, allowing them to modify it and shape it to fit their pipeline. For example, if the rigs in the studio are standardized, Pathfinder can be adapted to detect certain controls within the rigs, saving setup time for animators.
Another advantage is that the Studio Edition provides the studio with unlimited licenses. As the animation team grows, there is no need to purchase more individual licenses. Instead, the studio will have unlimited licenses at all times. The studio is also allowed to share the tool within all their facilities if they have several branches over the world.
We understand that some studios are way below 45 animators and that it makes more sense to buy a few licenses only. We are open to negotiate the price of our Studio Edition. We can assure this tool will be a great time saver for animators!
